A great north wood

The project at Le Mourier valley is fantastic, and it is great that so many can help in it and watch it grow. However I think it should be to expanded and it would be fantastic if it could spread along the north coast, joining other woods such as Greve Le Lecq, Rozel into a great north wood.

Why the contribution is important

It would help in the climate crisis in terms of  carbon sequestration, help Jersey's wildlife, create a beautiful area for people to enjoy and give the people of Jersey something to be really proud of.

There's hundreds of miles of field boundaries that can be planted with native species. Some of this work has already started and the potential is huge.

What if there was tax break incentives for individuals (and businesses for their staff) to volunteer for planting days?
